Fake AKOMISMO dogtags

Ever since I saw the TVC of AKO MISMO in the last Pacquiao match, I wanted to join AKO MISMO because I want to be part of a force for nation building. I also found out that AKO MISMO is all about volunteerism; it’s about taking initiative to take part in building our country or making our futures brighter. AKO MISMO is not mandating us on what to do, it’s about taking a stand and doing your pledge, no matter how little or eccentric it may be.

As part of the AKO MISMO movement, every member is supposed to be entitled to a dog tag as it is identification that you are part of the movement. And I quote;

“The AKO MISMO dog tag is a symbol of our commitment to create positive change in this country. As many of you have expressed, it is not just a fashion accessory. We hope that you will help us in our crusade to stop this proliferation of fakes by telling your friends and warning everyone about the counterfeits taking advantage of our cause. Also we encourage you to partner your dog tags with your pledges on our site as a genuine gesture of your commitment to the movement.

Mga ka-mismo, tayo mismo ang magbantay ng lahat ng ating pinahahalagahan sa kilusang ito!”

I took the above excerpt from the AKO MISMO website. The AKO MISMO dog tag is NOT A FASHION STATEMENT it is an IDENTITY. It is a symbol of our commitment to the movement. Sadly, there are a lot of people exploiting other people by selling AKO MISMO dog tags at a MUCH higher price (an AKO MISMO dog tag is just php 40) or selling FAKE dog tags. I’m not sure which is worst; making money out of unauthorized selling of the dog tags or creating fake merchandise using the name of AKO MISMO.

Now, take part in AKO MISMO; take initiative and stand up for what is right.
